Discovery Coast - Queens Sound Kayak Tour 4 days / 4 nites

from Shearwater and Bella Bella we head to the many islands surrounding Queens Sound at the top of the Hakai Conservation Area.

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Tuesday Board ferry in Port Hardy for a 9:30 am departure travel across Queen Charlotte Sound and make your way into the "Inside Passage" passing by the historic cannery town of Namu and on to Shearwater where you will meet your captain and tour guide for the next few days and welcomed aboard the Viking 1.
Day 2 - Wednesday Leaving Shearwater we head south down Lama Passage and Hunter Channel where we make the McNaughton Group of Islands our first stop. This is a paddlers paradise where you are free to explore the many channels and passageways nearby.
Day 3 - Thursday Weather permitting we go to the Goose Group of Islands where fine sand beaches await you. We have the option of going down to Spider Island and the Breadner Group of Islands where we anchor the big boat and you are free to explore this rugged scenery.
Day 4 - Friday
Our final day we head north again stopping to visit Bella Bella (Waglisla) a coastal town of the Heiltsuk Nation. We explore some nearby beaches and later have a tour of Shearwater before you board the ferry for the southbound trip to Port Hardy.
Saturday Arrive back in Port Hardy around 9 am.
